Formed in 2014 as a three piece, Suburban Prophets have enjoyed some generous airplay on local, commercial and international radio. The untimely death of bass player Dean McGowan devastated all those around him. This however, adds to our story and amplifies the will to play live music and keep his memory alive. Suburban Prophets have evolved into a four piece with Jeremy Brett (lead guitar, backing vocals), Louis Camilleri (drums), Andy Fry (lead vocals, guitar) and Nadia Ricciotti (bass).
We are in full recording and live concert readiness, with gigs each week around Melbourne in venues like Cherry Bar, Mr Boogie Man, The Espy and the iconic Tote Hotel. A busy live show features various haunting, melodic lead guitar riffs and our enigmatic front man. Suburban Prophets are heavy, dark, reliable, efficient and ready to play. Suburban Prophets play hard and dark rock originals influenced by The Cult, Jet, Silverchair, You Am I and even Queen.
